After being downsized from our positions in health insurance and social work, we started A Clean Slate in 2013. We had two goals in mind – to rely on our core values (Be Personable, Have Integrity, Be Consistent) and have a flexible schedule to allow time for our special needs daughter.

As A Clean Slate grew, those goals and core values extended to our team members, clients, and community.

Our Clients- Life is crazy-busy for everyone! We work around your schedule and follow a process that makes sure your home is consistently well-cleaned.

Our Team- We have an extensive application and background check process that results in all team members meeting our values. You’ll know that everyone who cleans your home is easy to talk with, has a process to follow, and feels a personal responsibility to do a great job. The team can have flexible schedules so they time to take care of their own families.

Our Community- A Clean Slate donates to local organizations such as the Spina Bifida Association of Iowa; various elementary schools in Urbandale, Waukee, and Ames; and some free cleaning for hospice members.
